Will their be anymore MP Starscreams, made available?
 

It worries me that the signs support that perhaps production for this figure has already ended and that TRU has exhausted their available stock on both sides of the border.

Mostly I wonder if this is the case because of indications I believe both toysrus.ca and toysrus.com have shown.

As many know toysrus.ca often pulls the listing completely sporadically only for it to return when more stock and/or preorders are available. It has however been up in an out of stock status with the option to email when available removed for a couple of weeks.

On toysrus.com the entry has been up and out of stock for awhile but it is no longer searchable and recently they put the price up on this out of stock unsearchable listing from $59.99 to $64.99

I find myself wondering if the fact that they are no longer allowing people to sign up to be notified on the Canadian site and aren't allowing it to be searched and put up the price on the US site could this mean as production has stopped and no new shipments are expected?

I am curious what the take is of others on this. If I am right then I was very lucky to get one of the last in Ontario last week. But I was also on the hunt for a couple of friends and I am increasingly wondering if it is time to wrap up the effort.

No MP figure really lasts in the wild for long. The only time they did, really, was when it was Acid Storm or Sun Storm, two characters that aren't massively popular. Starscream, much like Soundwave and Optimus, is likely done or will only get a few more trickle releases as the warehouse consolidates stock. The cars, however, are a different story. You can still find those more easily. Smaller, more collectible, likely cheaper to produce/buy...

Bluestreak is collecting dust everywhere. Go figure.

It won't be the first or the last time they totally under or over estimate demand. Lost profits for them, frustration for us. It baffles me...

That said there could be a second wave. I wouldn't bank on it, but even with MP 10 there were two waves.

For example (to my knowledge) not one MP Starscream showed up in the Ottawa region, so clearly distribution was very limited.

Why don't you buy/pre-order as soon as it available instead of asking if there will be a 2nd round?

He did said he got one.
For the people who didnt bought it right away are the same people who complains that the mp starscream are sold out, claims its too expensive and Waiting for it to go on sale". But once its goes out of stock, they want it so badly.

it's on TRU.ca right now so anyone who hasn't gotten one deserves to miss out.

Because of the recent run, they have been going cheap on ebay too. Seems like all the sellers with a Starscream are desperate to get rid of theirs.

The hype also works in favor of the buyer at times. Devy was another recent example of this.
