Ener-Con is proud to welcome our 2014 Guest of Honour Michael Chain to the convention this August!

Michael is best known to Transformers fans as the Generation 1 voices of Powerglide, Hoist, Red Alert, Raoul & Skids! As well Michael is an accomplished musician & writer, having worked on cartoon series like She-Ra, Rambo, Police Academy and more.

Michael will be at Ener-Con all weekend long, meeting fans and signing autographs, as well as taking part in a Q&A and Script reading alongside Ener-Con attendees.

Fraser Paintcustoms will be bringing his amazing skills to Ener-Con! Fraser will be set up all weekend offering to battle damage Transformers for attendees, as well as showing off and selling his other great work.

As well Fraser will be hosting a panel on how to battle damage a Transformer, and customizing in general! Here is your chance to learn some tips and tricks from one of the best customizers in Manitoba!

Ener-Con will be offering numerous events and activities all convention long just for kids!

The first 30 plus Children under ten years of age will each receive a new, packaged 'flip out' Transformers toy from Dark of the Moon thanks to our friends at Unreal Books!

Be sure to check out www.unrealbooks.com for all your Transformers art needs!

As well a children's activity area will be set up all weekend long featuring scheduled activities for kids to take part in. From papercraft Transformers building courtesy of Kiriharu, to coloring, to a Build Your Own Kreon panel(for a slight cost being passed long to charity by Ener-Con) there will be a ton of things for kids to see and do at Manitoba's First Transformers Fan Convention!

Ener-Con is pleased to welcome IDW Comic Artist James Raiz as a special guest!

James will be making his first convention appearance since 2002!

Known currently for his work on IDW's recent ongoing 'Dark Cybertron' series, James has been working on Transformers for over a decade going all the way back to Dreamwave's Armada series in 2002. His credits include many different subgenres from the Transformers franchise including Generation 1, Beast Wars, 2007 Transformers the Movie, Armada, Energon & Cybertron plus more! As well his work has appeared on Hasbro package art at toy stores near you.

In addition to Transformers James has also worked on high profile title for Marvel & DC like Wonder Woman, The Incredible Hulk & Birds of Prey. As well he works as a visual artist for film, TV and Video Games with credits including Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter & Stargate: The Ark of Truth just to name a few.

James will be at Ener-Con all weekend long meeting fans, signing autographs, showcasing his art, selling prints and taking part in Q&A's and Panels.

CSpray717, Clint's Youtube Channel offering toy and convention reviews, has nearly 4000 subscribers. He is also the founder of one of the largest Transformers Facebook groups, Transformers Addicts, which currently sits at over 8000 members and growing!

Ener-Con is excited to be welcoming Hasbro Toy Designer & Artist Marvin Mariano back to Winnipeg this August!

Marvin first started working on Transformers in the late 1990's doing a variety of different work on Beast Wars & Beast Machines and the cancelled Transtech line for Draxhall Jump Studios in Toronto. This included Marvin contributing the character designs of Obsidian for Beast Machines.

Marvin's other prominent work for Hasbro includes designing several of the Star Wars/Transformers from 2007-2009 and the more recent Rescue Bots 2014 toy line.

Marvin will be at Ener-Con all weekend long selling prints, doing commissions for attendees, taking part in a Q&A/presentation and more!

Artist Evan Quiring is dong a special exclusive print for Ener-Con and we wanted to give everyone a little sneak peek at it. The finished print will be fully colored, 11 by 17 and limited to a certain number of prints(yet to be determined).

Are you looking for a hard to find vintage toy? Raven's Toys, Comics & Games specializes in the 1980's, including Transformers!


They will be bringing out a huge assortment of Generation 1 toys,parts ,boxes , instruction booklets and more to Ener-Con, including tons of merchandise not currently available in their stores!

You can get into the mood for Ener-Con by visiting their two stores in Winnipeg. The flagship store is at 984 St Mary's Road and their second location is at 1839 Portage Avenue, tons of Transformers at both locations!

We really pounded the pavement on this one and got word out about Ener-Con. We had great feedback and a ton of people telling us that they would be attending, so it was a great success!!!!!

Taking a break from hiding from evil humans, Bumblebee will be at Ener-Con for free pictures with Attendees!

The vehicle is a 2012 Transformers Special Edition Camaro factory produced by GM! It will be available for photos at to be determined times both Saturday & Sunday!
