The engineering of the figure is identical, it's only cosmetic differences.
If you have TR Hardhead or the redecoed TR Decepticon Quake then it's an identical figure structurally and in terms of transformation.
All of the Retro Headmasters are only differentiated from their TR equivalents by color tweaks, some stickers, and using the Takara head. The sameness is to the extent that flaws which were present in the TR versions (like the brittle, failure prone wings on Mindwipe or the breakage-susceptible canopy hinge on Weirdwolf) are suspected/presumed to still be present in the Retro Headmasters releases. |
