Iacon North, The Manitoba Transformers Fan Club, will be once again invading C4( www.c4con.com) this November 2nd-4th!

We will be there in force showing off our perenial table of Transformers collectibles and art! As well Benzo, skinsquad, C-Spray, Haggis, Scrapper6, Leozak, niteowl, Robimus and several more club members will all be on hand with dealer tables, selling stuff, talking Transformers and having a blast all weekend long!

Also C4 2012 has brought in several Transformers related guests for this years convention!

Allan Oppenheimer, the voice of Seaspray, Warpath, Beachcomber & Breakdown from the original Transformers cartoon series will be on hand all weekend long signing autogrpahes and meeting fans! (Note, Mr. Oppenheimer will be charging an autograph fee).

Alex Milne returns to C4 this year hot off a very busy year as the lead artist on Transformers: More Than Meets The Eye from IDW! Alex will be sketching away all weekend long for the fans so make sure you get something done by this amazing Transformers artist!

As well other Transformers related guests include former cover artists Michael Golden & Mark Texiera and Hasbro Concept Designer Hugh Rookwood!

Iacon North has commisioned some bead art exclusively to sell at C4! Optimus Prime, Megatron and the Autobot & Decepticon Faction Symbols will be available to be purchased.

$30 for a set, $10 each for Prime & Megatron, $7 each for the faction symbols. All profits go to Iacon North to help make our club bigger and better!

Also we will have some of our Reprolabels produced Faction Symbols at C4 available for purchase as well if any of our club members missed out on them at the Fan Gathering.

Just look for our block of vendor tables for this and other great stuff!

Ahhh the memories. Man with so many years of this going on I'm kind of stumped what to bring this year for the display/show-off table. Fortunately I still have a few weeks to figure it out.

Next year shouldn't be a problem, what with Fort Max being readily available and joining many of our collections. :D Perhaps this year we should have an invasion theme of Shattered Glass figures? Anybody have any for display?

Unfortunately I won't be able to make it to C4 this year as I'll be at the MTS Centre taking in the Manito-Ahbee Festival with the family. Didn't think they would be going on the same time this year. Is there any way to get a set of that kick ass beadwork? LMK thanks

And as a friendly reminder, according to the Calendar, Daylight Savings time will end this Sunday, so don't forget, we wouldn't want you to show up an hour early before the doors even open by mistake and miss out on some great stuff. :D

I can barely contain my enthusiasm and excitement, this is going to be the best C4 yet, Shatner brought in the crowds last time, Stewart will double that I'd wager simply because he's remembered for more than just Jean-Luc Picard, he's also Professor X, and... Wasn't he in one of those Christmas Carol remakes on television. And of course who can forget the Director of the CIA on American Dad. Yep, if we don't see double the attendance on Saturday this year from Shatner's crowd drawing power well, I'm not sure what, but I know there'll be some sort of consequence.

Plus Lando, he's there too this year, uh, unless somebody cancelled or something, which I haven't heard.

Guest list did change slightly yesterday.

Not attending - Bruce Boxleitner & Walter Koenig

Replacing them - Nicelle Nichols(Uhura) and Marina Sirtis(Deanna Troi)

Billy Dee is a go so far as I've heard.

I'll be at the convention center today and let you know if I hear about any changes.

Wow, it's a Star Trek-a-Looza.

Uhura always was attractive and impressive as an actress. Hmmmm, I wonder if I should try to save up for an Autograph from her this year???

We still have one amazing day left to go! Iacon North has TFPerlers left if anyone is looking(Heat Bag I've got a set set aside for you). Also Voice Actor Alan Oppenheimer and Artists Alex Milne, Marvin Mariano and Hugh Rookwood are all in the house all day tomorrow.

As well Patrick Stewart has extended his stay at C4 and will be on hand signing autogrpahes from 10am until 1pm. so you still have time!!!!!!!!!

He didn't? Does this mean crowds will be even larger than usual on a Sunday. Oh I certainly hope it won't be too crazy, although as the saying goes, be careful what you wish for.

This is because of all the people still coming in when I left, and probably still coming in close to closing time isn't it? :primelaugh:

Really no art exlcusives to speak of Transformers wise, though I will have some pics of some sketches I had commisioned to show off this week.:)

I'll let you know today what happened but it really didn't have anything to do with the crowds, just luck.

Great time at C4Con this weekend. Picked up a lot of figures from alot f the sellers including C-Spray and Robimus. Thanks guys. Met and got autographs from Patrick Stewart, Bret Hart, Kevin Nash, and Billie Dee. Although the lady receiving the money for Patrick Stewart was very impatient and rude. Telling her "Wow, a little rude there , don't you think." didnt make things better. Way more people there and huge lineups due to over capacity. A lot of angry people who had to wait to get in. Having a C4con membership helped a lot with the lineups. Cant wait till next year.

Glad you had a good time!

I got a bunch of stuff that I haven't committed to flash photography yet. Highlights for me were the parts party we had on Friday night(we will need to make that a yearly event).

Getting sketches of my custom Transformers 'Sharpshooter' & Star Wars Jazz from Hugh Rookwood & Marvin Mariano respectively.

Seeing Alex Milne again and chatting with him was great, as was meeting Billy Dee & Alan Oppenhiemer.

Had fun hanging out with some old friends and making some new friends!

Looks like everyone had a great time! Are all the people in the pic board members? I think there only one person in the pic I recognize. Benzo, I'm guessing that you're the guy in the Jets shirt?
