Make Toys Downbeat or Toyworld Coolsville?
 

Alright folks, curious to get some peoples opinions.... I grabbed the Generation Toys J4ZZ which I have posted for sale... while he is inredible and gorgeous.... just doesn't work with my G1 mps.... the way I had hoped. so the question becomes... Do you go Make Toys Downbeat or do you go Toyworld Coolsville???

Hard to say, man. Coolsville looks a lil boxier in robot mode, Downbeat looks a lil further offwhite. I've never handled a Toysworld, but I have a couple Maketoys and they're solid.

It's weird, there's so many options and they're so similar. Been struggling to decide between GCreations GDW-01 and Generation Toy GT-03 Optimus, myself.

For cartoon accuracy, Downbeat.

For toy accuracy, Coolsville.

My money's on Downbeat. I like the overall look better and the cleaner deco. He didn't have tons of stickers in the cartoon, so that's what I'd prefer. Your mileage may vary. :)

MT Downbeat for me, he looks more accurate and his bot mode looks more clean. The decals on Coolsville is nice in vehicle mode but then i think a bit too much. As Jones mentioned above, overall the cleaner look is better. MT also has a very quality built, not sure about TW...heard there customer service is not good.

OP said it doesn't fit into his G1 MP collection as he'd hope. :)

I'm probably getting the MT Downbeat. I prefer his robot mode more and I'm happy with his vehicle mode.

For TW Coolsville, I just can't get past that flap behind his head

Maketoys for me, the vehicle mode on Coolsville is money but I prefer the bot mode for Downbeat.

Ma-Ke Toys out of the 2 of them, but really on the fence here. Takara is going to release Jazz, it is only a question of when. But on that day, I suspect whichever stand in I get will be packing his accessories.
