hasbro MP rodimus...what a pos

this figure hates me. it took me 5! to get one that didnt have feet falling off out of the package or horrible QC issues with paint and plastic warping. now, after i thought i had found one that was going to be ok and have had set in my shelf for months afraid to touch, something ELSE has decided to break:banghead:.
i sit here tonight in the silence of the nite time i hear a "THUNK" coming from my display cases direction

....and there it was, rodimus's arm laying beside him like someone chopped it off.

seriously?!? this toy is the worst thing i have had the unfortunate experience of owning in recent history. i give up, this experience is enough to make me never pick up another hasbro produced MP toy ever again

For what it's worth I've not had any problems with mine either.

This figure, more than most, is a poster child for the phrase "QC lottery".

My first had a spiderweb of cracks on the windshield because the figure's chest wasn't snapped down prior to shipment, and it was not visible in packaging.

The second seems to be issue free, though I mostly just let it stand there and look pretty. I didn't find the transformation all that enjoyable, so I'm hesitant to put both the figure and me through that kind of stress.

i've got the takara and hasbro version. nothings broken off. i think the only problem i have is one of the joints on one of the wrist exhaust things is wonky and doesnt lay down properly. i'll take that over shit falling apart though.

I think MP-09 was too ambitious. Cool in theory, but execution is lacking.

Mine's been flawless so far. Love everything about him.

I have no regrets that I didn't pick one up. I can't justify spending that much money on something that I can't play with, and even if it doesn't break right out of the package there's no guarantee that it won't break 6 months down the road.

Besides, given the way the rest of the Masterpiece line has been going there will be a bigger, better MP Rod in a couple years.

Have both the Takara & Hasbro and so far nothing is falling off from both, maybe I just got lucky.
