Yeah, probably repacked him in to make a set of 4.

The most current UPCs are stored on TFW2005:

https://www.tfw2005.com/boards/threa...-toys.1074170/

Highbrow: Hasbro product code # F1024, EAN # 5010993813254
Weirdwolf: Hasbro product code # F1028, EAN # 5010993829019
Skullcruncher: Hasbro product code # F1027, EAN # 5010993829026

Drop the last digit if checking Stocktrack.ca, however these are not working on there at all.

Not a hope in hell but anyone able to confirm the Weirdwolf back/neck canopy hinge breakage thing hasn't been fixed in the slightest?

I thought they fixed the canopy hinge when they re-released Weirdwolf in Titans Return (there was a second run during TR).

I'm in Vaughan and never saw wave one in-store. Had to Grab em online when they where fleetingly in stock. Only got hardhead and brainstorm because I didn't have them from the titans release. If you have the titans these are no big loss.

But, but, but, the retro boxes!!!!

Oh and the different paint decos and Japanese Headmasters.

However you are right. If you already have these then you aren't missing anything. I only bought them for the retro packaging, but the other changes were a bit helpful in trying to justify the purchase to myself.

Yeah. They were hardly ever in stores in most places (my local Walmart had them once that I know about, but another local boardie got the only set that was put out before I made it to the store.) Most peoples' best bets were to wait for the random online restocks and hope they could get in on one of those windows before they sold out again in like 20 minutes. I snagged a Chromedome online in the very last restock like a month ago and got the other 3 from that same boardie who picked up the set from the Walmart because he had already ordered Brainstorm, Hardhead, and Mindwipe online and needed to offload those after picking up the boxed set.

Basically it's just more trash 2020/21 distribution issues, pandemic or not.

Axis of Action Toys (a 3P seller on Walmart) seems to have the only stock for wave 2. These are Walmart exclusives, which means these guys are buying out the stock from online just to flip them at 3x the price ($71.94). Scalping at it's finest. Walmart is actually stupid for promoting this on their site.

lucked out and got all 4 of wave 1 when I saw them one day, never saw any restocks since. ended up getting wave 2 off ebay (ugh) cause i don't trust lightning to strike twice. modern distribution is incredibly sad.

I can't remember exaxtly where I heard it from, but I think it was a review from YouTube. I guess we'll have to check the new version when we get it.

From what I read it's not fixed. It's a combination of the joint having pressure on it and a chemical in the softer red plastic bleeding into the yellow plastic weakening it.

Yeah, you guys are right. Just read the post on TFW about the issue. Doesn't look fixed.

Doesn't matter, the only way to get them is from scalpers at inflated prices anyways, walmart is completely useless for exclusives and they need to stop.

Saw them yesterday and they look tiny compared to the originals. I have the original G1’s and I just think they look small in comparison?

I have G1 Brainstorm and the new retro is slimmer, but has way better articulation

The G1 transformation was so stiff in comparison
