Is Walmart on crack too now like Amazon ?!?!
Look at some of these prices this morning:
https://www.walmart.ca/en/toys/actio...st&orderBy=ASC
Okay well it says "Discontinued from Manufacturer" Big deal. There still not worth that much. Good luck 3rd party - "Ami Ventures Inc." selling those.
Didn't think Walmart would let scalperz on there website.

Re: Is Walmart on crack too now like Amazon ?!?!
This is more good evidence why I Hope, globally, a place like TRU can turn things around. I mean, buying from Wal-Mart itself, fine, reputable online, cool, but the more we lose legit business, the more this sort of scalper nonsense will pop up. On the good side, I laughed pretty hard at these ridiculous prices.

I read somewhere walmart was planning to allow third party sellers on their website similar to the walmart.com in order to compete with amazon.
possibly this is just them testing it out.

Walmart is now allowing third party sellers on their site. If you look under the item name you'll see something like the following:
Sold and shipped by Ami Ventures Inc
This is what the CW Ultra Magnus had.

Noticed some 3rd party sellers on walmart.ca last week, just annoying. Its already such a pain on amazon with this stuff.
Unless it some cheap $5-15 item, usually from china i dont buy 3rd party.

3rd party selling is a blight on e-commerce.

Re: Is Walmart on crack too now like Amazon ?!?!
Wow. Clogging up their interface with overpriced crap no one's ever gonna buy. Now if we wanna search their website we have to click "Sold and Shipped by Walmart", otherwise we have to sift through garbage like $70 TR Hot Rod.
All this does is make me less eager, and therefore less likely to shop there.
If I wanted Ami Ventures, I'd go to *their* website.

Best buy has these things on their sight too and it's friggin annoying!
If I wanted to buy from someone else, I would just visit their store. If I visit walmart, or best buy, it's because I want to buy something from walmart, or from best buy.
Unless they make it easy to filter out what is theirs and what is being "sold on their site" by someone else, I inevitably just stop visiting the site.

They have been doing it for a while. The Jada Optimus, for instance, has been there since last summer. Thats how I first found out. Anyways, its different from Amazon since Walmart themselves still dont sell the figures for a crazy amount of money. The problem with Amazon is that the toys coming from themselves are ridiculously expensive sometimes.
