It's with great regret that we report to our fellow Canadians that an extremely reliable source has let us know that at this time the Walmart Exclusive Masterpiece Starscream figure will not be released in Canada.

Well, at least we know now. Sucks ass, but it beats waiting another month for an answer. Thanks for the update Super Megatron.

i hope toys r us releases it. i mean they released that walmart exclusive marvel legends here. if not, ill just wait til ebay prices flat out or just get the 'clean' ss fom hlj

Yeah, thanks, good to know...but any chance we can get more details on the confirmation as this 'reliable source confirming no release in Canada' is exactly what happened with Commemorative Soundwave and then a month later he was coming out in Canada. Maybe there's still some sort of chance he'll show up a few months down the line? (maybe at TRU...or Loblaws Superstore

Well we won't know if it ever will till Feb or March '08. Which seems to be the wait time for these type of exclusives. (4-5 months after US release) Commemorative Sounwave came out here in June '07 after being release in Jan '07 in the US. The movie scouts are hitting here now after being released in June state side.

Yeah it took Soundwave a long time to come out here but he seemed to get delayed a few times. However it was around a month after it was reported that Soundwave definately would not be released here that it was reported that he definately would be released here (and then the delay ensued).

The situation with Soundwave changed. We never got confirmation but what likely happened is Canada was able to piggyback onto the US order for that item. Unfortunately I understand that this won't be able to happen with Starscream at this time. Makes sense that SS will not be appearing up here since Walmart exclusives rarely do. Of course these are all good questions for Hasbro at TFcon this June.
