Re: Opinions on iGear Computer Control Center?

I have the set and left alone you will never get a solid piece. BUT BUT BUT...

I am no kit basher or anything but all I did was apply small amounts of crazy glue to the panels and now the thing is as solid as cast iron. No warping no anything.

I am a huge fan of the set and outside of needing crazy glue and the stickers need glue too I love the set.

It is a tiny price to pay to have a great set Hasbro will never make.

If you are capable of administrating a few drops of crazy glue and are ok with it I recommend the set. IT IS BIG.

Thanx

Okay everyone, I finally got_something_of a solution for the assembly issues, thought I'd share some pics and info...

So I tried Home Depot first, but they didn't have the panel fasteners I was looking for. They are automotive-type, so you'd either need to know of a car that uses the fastener and give a part number to Canadian Tire, or go to a fastener specialty store (like Ottawa Fastener or Gould or Spae Naur)

Any way, I found something even simpler that just about anybody can find--binder clips!

I got these at the Dollarama--$1 for 20 PCS!!!

So all you do is open this up, and clip them in strategic places...

And before you know it, TADA...a much more solid Teletraan 1. Gawd I love this set!!!

Interesting. But now that I've sold almost all my Henkei figures...

This solution to hold the pieces together is a much better idea than my velcro, which is starting to come loose. I'll have to go get me some of these binder clips! Great idea there!
