KO's For Sale
Those of you who have been following the
KO Thread have maybe seen some of my KO KOllection before. I have between 350-400 KOs now, that I bought while in China, so I thought I'd let a few extras go to make some room, and to help out my fellow KOllectors, or KOllectors who want to start a KOllection.
The quality on KOs is no where near Hasbro quality, because KOs are manufactured for Chinese kids, to buy and smashup and then buy some more
These KOs were never meant to fall into the hands of KOllectors like us.
Also there is no 2nd hand toy market in China, for KOs. When toys break, or get old, they're thrown out. The plastic items get separated out of the garbage, and then the plastic is sold in bulk to be melted down and used again. So, when the Chinese kids grow up, get rich, and start having nostalgia for these things, these KOs will be rare KOllectors items
So, why KOllect KOs if the quality isn't as good? for me it's about having an exotic, rare and sometimes wacky piece in my Transformers collection, that's until they grow to become a Transformers "KOllection" of their own.
