Re: transformers and humidity

There is a TF reviewer on Youtube who stores his figures in his fridge. Maybe that will help.

Re: transformers and humidity

Humidity can be serious for TFs the sudden change from hot to cold causes moisture even in small amounds (surface dampness) will cause all sorts of issues, from decals peeling to rusty screw heads to joints tightening and if there is dust on them (most do at some point) and it becomes moist can breed mold/fungus (if the conditions are right),.. get slimy/stickey..dehumidifiers , a constant room temp, desicant packages to absorb moisture help combat this even cardboard boxes and putting them in ziplocks help.

http://drizair.com/

This stuff is unbelievable.

I use it for quite a few things.

Pretty humid here in Raincity.

Put one in your detolf and you're good to go for humidity (but not heat).

Re: transformers and humidity

Very funny cobra commander....
Thanx skrilla for the link....
I've tried the desicant bag in a ziploc with some and before that i've put them in a plastic box and i think it work since the stickiness seem to have gone away... Not because i wash my hand c.c.... But i'm not taking any chance so they'll stay in a ziploc for the summer
