The CSRs at the Walmarts here are hardasses though. If I can't show them the exact same figure on TRU.ca with the sale price, they won't do it. For example, I doubt I could show the product page for Cyclonus and apply the discount to Battle Core OP.

yeah good luck with that I know where positivelyken is coming from I have given up price matching toys at my local Wal-Mart as the CSR's there are horrible they always try to find some way of making excuses up of why they should not price match for you.

It's not in flyer to stop the ebay/kijiji scalpers. It gives us real collectors a chance to purchase our missing pieces.

You could just pay retail if you really want the figure. It has nothing to do with scalpers/re sellers.

Otherwise you may want to add "ly cheap" to the above sentence.

That's not right, just ask the store manager, or better yet, call the 1-800 number they have listed on their Customer Service desk wall that says if you have a problem at the store level, call.

I guarantee they'll be price matching for you when you start dialling.

Good news, I found what I wanted at a different TRU store, so I didn't have to engage with Walmart's price match Nazis after all.

Unfortunately that is not true. District Managers will but just to make it clear for everyone the policy is you have to show a current flyer with the sale and then you can show them the product for the price match. TRU policy is different as you can show them an advertised item and they will match as in the case of when Devy went on sale on walmart.ca. So long as it is was in stock TRU would do the match but Walmart doesn't work that way trust me on this.

I pmed cyclonus at wamart took a little bit of time. They were busy and the assistant manage was helping out on cash. I printed out cyclonus as from toys r us since I thought it would help speed things up and the UPC codes matched.

He said they were scammed a lot with fake printouts and images on phones so he had to verify on his own phone. I can understand that. A while ago they got scammed with $100 ps4 from fake amazon sellers.

I pmed about 4 times in the past two months and got them approved. Then I used the Hasbro coupon on top of them lol.
