Transformers Prime toy questions

I have noticed a lot of different types of figures in the TF Prime toy line and they are nice expect for a few. I've always wondered how can we differentiate the categories and what do they have in common, like for example;

First Editon:
  • Deluxe Classe
  • Voyager Classe
  • SDCC Exclusive
  • NYCC Exclusive
RID Edition:
  • Series 1
  • Voyager Classe
Weaponizers
Entertainment Packs
BBTS Exclusives
Leader Class
MISC

Beast Hunters:
  • Voyager Class
  • Deluxe Class
  • Cyberverse

Re: Transformers Prime toy questions

The traditional categories remain the same when it comes to scale.
Cyberverse - small
Deluxe - Medium
Voyager - Large

The line was initially release as a FE or First Edition wave which paid more attention to details and paint apps. These where both released in Canada and Japan on the first wave. The US market did not receive the FE waves initially and through persistence a secondary wave was released to their markets.
The RID and AM lines where simultaneous released in both markets with major differences
RID was just a regular paint app toy mass produced
AM (Arm Micron) was release with a more traditional throw back feel that came with stickers set as well as a mini figure on a sprue that can be combined.

BW(NA) and GO (Japan) was a turning point where the toys became nothing like the anime was. Unless your considering the dragon type beasties.

Exclusives where just colour variants of same molds. Some very cool stuff was released in the FE line.
