/\/\ we for sure won't see as many of the Americans that come up anymore unless they want to go to both which I cant see happening unless they just have loads of cash.

Yeah, the hit to american attendance is something I'm curious about. I'm sure it's intended for those Americans who can't/won't cross the border, but the reality is there will be some spillover who just decide not to come to Canada for the original. We'll see what happens.

Also, I wonder if this means TFCon Vancouver is possible in the future, given that one of the reasons given for not having a TFCon Vancouver is that the staff can't plan a TFCon from a distance.

Swalloweddark and I might try to go to this, but I doubt we can get it off, it'll be a struggle just to get the Friday off for the Toronto one because of it being the second week of the month and the paper's Royal week. (second week of every month). Plus we are already using 3 days off for Anime North and maybe a day for Fan Expo, but we will try. Though I much rather go to the Toronto one first and foremost if I was forced to choose.

It might get messy if the 2 shows are different enough, unless posters are diligent to mention which country (or city) their thread is about in their titles.

They can probably just add a prefix, like in the customs, to which convention it applies. [TFcon Canada], [TFcon USA], or [BOTH].
