Re: Earthrise appreciation thread

Grabbed a long-standing order from A3U yesterday.

Fasttrack is delightful. The dude having hollow calves means he can tiger knee like a boss.

Snappy is a bit finicky with the chest connection/tab, the headmaster into dragon helmet, and his feet for jet mode, but I'm super happy to have an update of one of the few G1 toys to survive my parents.

Still need to find time to open Super Megatron though.

Love that Prowl/Smokescreen/Bluestreak mold. That Universe figure was always so janky (not to mention sticky) but was the best we had until now. Can't wait for that Prowl/Ironhide twopack to finally ship.

Totally agree. I am only buying Smokescreen but I love it. I really like the thick thighs and big feet. It's a terrific robot mode. Transformation is fun with some G1 homages and modern stuff. I can't quite get all the seams to line up, but it's a toit car mode.

In fact I would say Earthrise is largely nailing all the car robots except one. Runamuck is terrific. Trailbreaker has like, zero clearance but it's still a great toy. Arcee is straight trash but that's besides the point.

I agree on Fasttrack, what a terrific toy. On his own he's great. Two guns and a dagger.

I think Snapdragon is overall better excecuted than Apeface. Both have their flaws, and I agree with the dragon mode head bit. He's fun!

Re: Earthrise appreciation thread

Fun fact: A Mini-Con port is just a standard 5mm port with a hole in it, so with a little bit of drilling on an Earthrise Optimus Prime's trailer you can equip Optimus with your choice of scout vehicle to replace the MIA Roller:
