My first reaction was to call this hideously ugly. Then I went and actually compared it to the original. Now I think it's a good update of a hideously ugly toy.

I'll admit it, this is the first Botcon set in a while I won't be buying. This Megaplex is great, but overall it isn't desirable to me...it must be the Machine Wars theme...I have all the originals, but that is enough for me as overall it's pretty bland.

Ugh! This would be great if they had given him a new head. Honestly, I think they're fools not to. If they show a Megatron figure with this same mold later on as one of the add-ons, then they are morons.
Megaplex is supposed to be a decoy of Megatron. A doppelganger. A clone. What is the point if he doesn't look like Megatron?

This completely surprised me, never thought they would use a current mold that's still on shelves as the most recent wave (here in Canada at least)
