Re: Transformers Universe/Classics 2.0

I need to see how the legends Beachcomber and Brawn will look, but otherwise I'm not into the legends, they're too out of scale. Why can't Brawn get a deluxe instead like BB and CJ did? I still want a deluxe Jazz, deluxe Wheeljack, deluxe Arcee, deluxe Ratchet and Scourge. Otherwise, the line has a good variety of G1 characters, many of whom are new to me.

legends are their scale lol, and we kinda got a scourge witrh the 6" titanium lol, but i definately want to see a better g1 styled wheeljack, or a liokaiser lol (i know, not going to happen) but they should make onslaught and silverbolt into combiners again

Compare legends Brawn to classics Bumblebee and Cliffjumper. They're all minibots, yet a small car is huge compared to an offroader. I could use classics legends BB, but the prob is I never bought it.

Anyone know if there's a release date for the 25th Anniversary Optimus Prime Anniversary Pack? And if it will be mass retail?

Re: Transformers Universe/Classics 2.0

If Hound's getting a Legends and a Deluxe complete with Ravage accessory/figure then I'm sure Hasbro knows how much Brawn and Beachcomber would sell if they made them to scale as well. Same goes for the likes of Jazz and G2 Megs, I'd kill to have a Classics interpretation of G2 Megs. Make it a brand new Voyager sculpt and package it in a mass release comic two pack with G.I.Joe #138 or 140 or one of the lead in's to G2. And instead of an Autobot package him with some Cobra figures based on the most prominent characters from the issue.

Universe is going to go over real well though with all the 84 cars almost being released, all they need is a Trailbreaker that could later be re-tooled into Hoist and a Wheeljack who could share bodies with one of the Stunticons if they need repaint fodder. Since everyone else is practically guaranteed.
I really dig Prowl and Bluestreak, once I see some pics of them next to the original Classics I hope they'll really fit in design wise.

I guess I should start saving my money now... poor poor wallet [both figuratively and literary].

All I know is that with this one-two punch of Classics/Universe 2.0 and Animated, Hasbro will beat my wallet to submission this year.
