Just bought a Sky Lynx with missing accessories...

I just got a Sky Lynx at Woodbridge TRU and got home and noticed...the tape has already been cut. Opened it up and noticed the weapon parts and blast effects were missing.

In my excitement I foolishly cut the strings holding the Lynx down, and the bird was already loose, did I just pay full price for a pre-owned copy? lol

From the reviews it seemed those blasters weren't the best accessories but still, I feel cheated. I paid the extra 10$ from them bumping it up too! Is there anyway I can return it now, or should I just suck it up and keep it? The figures themselves are fine at least, tho the bird's left wing is loose.

I just called them and they said that I could return it, even though I took em outta the box. And no, unfortunately it was the only copy they had so I'd get a refund only.

I knew it was too good to be true that I happened to call that TRU and they held it just for me orz

Seems most likely...I'm torn. I can get a refund on it which is good but MAN I really wanted this figure, the figure itself is wonderful but the missing accessories suck! But if I return it then I'd have to go back on the hunt, I was so happy when I got this set and thought I got that crap over with. Who knows if he'll get ever get stocked as much as Jetfire did?

What do you guys think I should do? Get my money back or just keep this incomplete set?

You could always hold it for 30 days and see if you can find another one. I'm sure there will be lots more, it's just the initial release where everyone is buying them up.

Omega Supreme and Jetfire are getting another production runs and given Sky Lynx is a more recent release i have a feeling it will be in production for a while man. Id take it back and just hold out.. those blast effects and stuff are awesome.

My mom actually suggested that, just get a partial refund since it's incomplete. idk how that'd go tho.
