Re: Finally, A solution to the sea attack ravage problem

So, we clear the pegs free of Sea attack ravages but...what happens when Hasbro decides to throw in ANOTHER ravage repaint into the movie wave?

Why does Hasbro deliberatley release repaint no one in the right mind would want?

^This. Next sale, I think I'll pick up a couple to give to a toy drive.

But no one at Winners would buy them?

My best guess is just take them off the shelves and send it to the abyss.

The ET burial was because most Atari games only put out a few hundred thousand copies and had 6 months to complete. In order to accept the deal with Spielberg, Atari had 6 weeks to complete the game from start to finish and were required to make 5,000,000 copies.

The rest is obvious, especially if you've ever played that game.

The happy part of that story is that the sales guy(s) at Atari that made the deal with Spielberg probably got huge bonuses for the sale.
