Personally I think that is what it was missing, other then that one minor change I think it's bloody spot on.

If you guys feel it works better, I don't mind changing it. The reason I made the changes was to make it more authentic to the TFA style. I also styled the face a bit closer to Omega Supremes, to get that giant TFA robot look. Anyways, I'll adjust the nose back to the original's.
Anyone think the detail is good enough or over board?

As with more or less everything with this project.
Majority rules, the head looks great either way.

Re: 2010 Cybertron.ca SickKids Hospital Charity Project
IMO the one without the nose looks more "Animated" than the other. As Np said they look both look great.
I think the amount of detail is perfect. The head will be quite large and there is no where that looks plain. I really like the flathead screw look.

Re: 2010 Cybertron.ca SickKids Hospital Charity Project
Wanted to share something frightening... and a bit funny... So I finished Defensor's head, and neck. I uploaded the front of the head to Shapeways. To get it made in the cheapest material, is about $30. To get it made in the same material as the other heads, its about $50! And thats only the front part. Anyways, I have to go back and hollow out the head even more now. Hopefully I can get it down to under $50 for the entire head and neck.

Thanks for the offer. I managed to knock the price down by half. Basically, made the inside as hollow as possible. But I'll be filling it up with resin, so its not flimsy. Anyways, the price is affordable enough for me to order it with the remaining heads.
So know I just need to finish Hotspots head, as far as modelling goes.
