$150,000 collection for sale! "Largest" on ebay!
Sorry, but I saw this and man, what a joke!
http://cgi.ebay.com/Largest-Transformers-Gundam-Macross-Anime-figures_W0QQitemZ300353810124QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH _DefaultDomain_0?hash=item45ee7b6ecc
Sorry, but this is just totally underwhelming to me upon looking at this collection. Some of the members on these boards blows his collection to dust IMO (miasboytoy, VS2, Protoman, chansformers, Guber, soundwaveCA, GMFan101, etc.)
It doesn't even have many G1 figures, most of it's domestic US series, some which are worthless.
I haven't taken an in-depth look at the collection, but I was just guessing 7k, but that's since I don't value much of the Armada/Energon/Cybertron MISB to be worth that much
I think we should have a guessing game on how much it's fair market value is!
The thing I don't like most is how people "conveniently" say it's their "friend's" or "brother's" collection.
Although the link has been removed, this guy was clearing trying to trade part of his collection for other stuff: http://www.hobbyfanatics.com/index.p...1&#entry252586
same ebay ID.

I've looked at only a few pics so far, nothing that says rare as hell so can't really say it's worth that amt imo. What I did see is a possible ripoff, http://s40.photobucket.com/albums/e2...onspics059.jpg
He's displaying the UM and SW Classics 2-pack but you'll see a OP and SS in its place

I thought I saw this on TFW or Ebay a few months ago. Seems someone is in deep and doesn't know how to get out.

Re: $150,000 collection for sale! "Largest" on ebay!
this has been on ebay for months.
his TF collection is actually not bad... with all the MISB, doubles/triples. Several Japanese exclusives... galaxyforce convoy sonic wing gift pack, the clear super link 3 pack... the TF along probably worth close to 10k maybe more
he does have a lot of VFs, these are not expensive, and there isnt a big second hand market in north america. and all the other anime pvcs. keep in mind all of the VF and PVC are discontinued, so if some of them are truely MISB, they could go fairly high price on ebay 100-200 before shipping.
I would say total collection worth around 20G, but no way 150. I remeber years ago, someone from Grand Prairie Alberta was selling their entire MISB collection from G1 up to RID ithink, for 50k.

HAAA HAAAAA HAAAAAAAAA.....HAAAA>>100,000k, HAA HAAA HAAAAA.... The guy even banned the guy who laughed at him, lol. We's all like to think that our collections were worth that much, but come on, lol. he needs to do some research on prices, so he can actually move that collection.
