Re: worth it or not $220,000
Wow that's a lot of stuff. It might be worth that much or even a value, but I think a big part of collecting is the collecting aspect. The little bit of excitement you get with each piece, as you get them. Plus, I would feel pretty stupid if I had $220000 and spent it on a bunch of toys.
I completely envy the statue collection. OMG

Re: worth it or not $220,000
That setup looks familiar; I distinctly remember that from TFans...
As to it being worth the asking price, tough call.

Re: worth it or not $220,000
Call me crazy, but I'm not actually interested in having a collection that size...

Re: worth it or not $220,000
Your right CP, the guy is on TFans, and he has about 10 10th/MP Primes. Because there are so many multi TFs you could easily sell alot of them to make money back...... but nothing close to 220,000.00
Also, I lol'd when I saw the $10,000.00 shipping

Re: worth it or not $220,000
i dont think it's worth it(imho)everything that i can see in the pics are from beast wars and on,pretty sparse for g1mib/misb,which is where i would expect most of the 222,000$to be going, not into cybertron/armada/energon figs which are at most maybe worth 10 to 20 bucks each on average.i mean he does have a few nice pieces(fireguts ginrai,starsaber/victory leo, etc)but nothing/nowhere near the asking price of 220,000$ plus 10,000$ for shipping.it's good to know someone has better drugs to smoke than me

Re: worth it or not $220,000
Not even anywhere remotely close to worth that. The collection barely even has any 'money' figures and is lack any real G1 pieces (i.e. misb) that could drive the value up.
He'd be lucky to get 1/8 of that price.
