Hmm.. just thought I would start a threat that almost everyone can contribute and talk about. what is your favourite transformers toy, or better yet, what do you think IS the best transformers toy?
Let's say there is only one toy you can pick that would represent the transformers world.. what would it be?
for me, I would pick the masterpiece takara version MP01 optimus prime (FIRST EDITION would be best
). the masterpiece line is known to be collector friendly and the earlier figures really add nostalgic to it.
it IS the optimus prime we all came to know (g1).. it stands 12 inches tall... part diecast... statue-like.. the FIRST figure made in the masterpiece line that commenmorates the 20th anniversary.. all the little gimmicks to it...
I believe mp04 is a better figure because it comes with the trailer and at that time was the perfect prime.. however being that it was the fourth figure in the masterpiece line.. the excitement for the toy was less dramatic than when mp01 came out, just my thought!
with that said, I think mp01 best represents tranformers figures, and I think a lot of my reasoning contributes to its nostalgic and what it represents.. lemme know what you guys think!
