In fact, It's not just the Bay movies that incorporate this lame flaw, many post-G1 continuities have humans able to kill Transformers.

Matrix, in Beast Wars, Cheetor was almost killed by a snake!

It raises the value of series that didn't have this flaw:

-Unicron "Tril"ogy

Interesting that while RiD Humans couldn't harm Transformers with human technology, they could still control Cybertronian technology which in turn could destroy Transformers.

But, yes, Prime is a bit less compassionate in the films. Mostly the execution of the Con in ROTF comes to mind.

Prime killing a human to save Marky Mark's life, to me, really doesn't reflect on him all that poorly. What was he suppose to do, let Fraser kill Marky Mark?

-when Megs tossed Optimus through a building
-when Optimus saved the falling Sam, and had to "surf" down the buildings. How many times have you walked to the window to see what's going on when you hear a loud noise?

The BW transformers are significantly smaller than their G1 ancestors. Cheetor is literally the size of a cheetah. And have you seen those big snakes in real life? Pretty fucking strong.

The thing that gets me about that segment is Cheetor saying "can't... breathe..." *shrugs*

Imperfect, but the crushing strength of that snake doesn't bug me.
