The condition of the pins (compared to the stickers) makes me think that too.

Wasn't there a near identical KO that just needed stickers a long while back?

Still, that's a nice find.

I can't find anything about KO G1 Star Sabers online to check. It's got a Japanese stamp as well as a Takara Co. 1989 stamp on the inside.

Local guys say they were relatively common with immigrant families in the eighties, so who knows? I'm trading a guy for a KO gun and nozzle and an original Brainmaster. Gonna get this guy working again.

Re: Value Village: what are your Transformers findings?

Another good night at Value Village! Scored G1 Blot and Gobots Cy-Kill in the same bag. Blot is loose in the hips and arms, but with zero rust and great stickers. Cy-Kill is in great shape; a little chrome rub but transforms beautifully.

I left a CHUG Blitzwing and Rhinox behind for another lucky scavenger.

Re: Value Village: what are your Transformers findings?

In Value Village Moncton there is what appears to be a G1 Hunn-Grr. I say "appears" because he is not white at all but a light brown color. He looks to be in decent shape and even has a g1 insignia rub sticker on his chest.
At first I thought it was some type of yellowing due to age but the coloring is uniform throughout the entire figure.
Anyway, it was $9.99 and I have a good shape g1 Hun-Grr with accessories anyway so I passed on it.

Hun-Grrr goes brown yellow quite often. I have one like that.

Construct bots Thundercracker 1.99

considered him but wary of too many parts ...to be missing. Looked through bag and discovered his head was missing!!

Guess that's 1 reason to get rid of a toy!
Matrix, might as well have a board game without the board!!

What I did pick up though was a 2001 Robots in Disguise Megatron for $3.99, a 2001 Robots in Disguise Sky byte for $5.99, and a Beast Wars Transmetal Cheetor for $5.99. Each is in decent shape for display purposes.
