Possible First Look At Walmart Retro G1 Hound Reissue

Thanks to our very own 2005 Boards member*Lazerwave*we can share for you what could be our first look at a new*Walmart Retro G1 Hound Reissue. This is a re-release of the classic G1 Hound mold with some noticeable differences compared to the original release from 1984.*We can spot a lighter shade of green plastic, no chromed parts, tampograph stars, details and Autobot insignia instead of stickers, and cartoon-accurate paint apps in robot mode. This figure is likely to be part of the new Walmart exclusive Retro G1 re-issues which we have already seen Hot Rod and Starscream. » Continue Reading.

This is outta left field. Yes looks cheaper. But though I have my original Hound I'd like this.

No diecast. No chrome. No rubber wheels. That'll be $70, right Walmart?

If this is $30, I'd get it. But what are the chances this will be a reasonable price? Also what are the chances this comes in a retro box with a plastic window?

Most likely expensive and in an opaque box that may or may not contain a bannana instead of a hound.

The rear part that becomes the feet are diecast you can tell from the difference in color. The no chrome probably is because it is going for animation colors just like the recent g1 hotrod reissue.
