Spolier alert: new BB-8 6" stand alone figure
OMG looks like we are getting a stand alone BB-8 6"and 12" hero figure coming spring 2016 and yes that's a saw and electric shocks coming from his sides http://comicbook.com/2015/10/07/new-...oilers/#Image1

theres rummerd to be 2 both a 6" and a 12" hero figure .. one shown is the 12" version

Not too surprising as astromechs are technically walking (rolling? gliding?) toolcases anyways.
Now if the Sphero or Hasbro R/C version had those functions I'd gladly buy one to help "coerce" my kids to eat their gorram vegetables and shuddup at dinner time.
