Sideswipe Rocket Pack

I know, I know it's an 80's cartoon!! but still...LOL

I remember in the 3rd part episode (G1) of More Than Meets The Eye, Optimus asked Sideswipe to give him his Rocket Pack in a desperate attempt to stop the Decepticons, but his plans fell short, as we see him getting hit. After that we never saw the Rocket Pack again, last time we saw it was when Prime got hit and came crashing down. Did the Rocket Pack got destroyed when Prime was falling?

Good question. I don't know but episode 1 of the cartoon, all the autobots could fly, by episode 4 none of them could. Go figure

The rocket pack got stolen. You might say it got side swiped when nobody was looking. Harrharhar.

But seriously, the pack getting destroy is probably as good an answer ans any.
