Transformers Movie Character Allspark Deluxe Repaints exclusive to Zellers
Cybertron.ca has learned that the 4 Transformers Movie character Allspark deluxe repaint figures – BUMBLEBEE, AUTOBOT JAZZ, BARRICADE and DECEPTICON BRAWL – (packed in robot mode in a premium display package to showcase the robot’s AllSpark Powered blue deco highlights) will be released in Canada exclusively to Zellers.
Look for these figures to start showing up at Canadian retail in late March/early April. These toys are Target exclusives in the US.

Nice packaging, but like Pascal, I'm not a fan of the "allspark" blue deco highlights... I wish they would just include a minature allspark with the figures like their japanese counterparts.
edit: Are the movie premium figures expected to show up in retail around the same time/ or after these figures are released?

Yep, I'm in the same camp. I'm glad to see exclusive releases making their way here to Canada (which knowing our luck they'll stop bringing them as soon as the movie line is over...which they only started doing with these last and not very awe-inspiring releases anyways), but these strike me as very redundant and worse than their non-allspark forefathers...

ooh...add a little baby blue and suddenly the P.O.S. movie toys are worth buying??? No thanks.
However if they released the Japanese exclusive gold Lawson Bumblebee then I'd consider spending my Canuck buck on a movie figure, but only if it's less than $30.
Just dreaming out loud...

I'd like to get my hands on a lawson's for sure. It would be great if we'd get a special Canada only release like they do elsewhere in the world. Perhaps the Canadian market is too small to justify it? Regardless, these allspark figures are just horrible. Nice packaging though.
