So, I made a resolution last year to paint more Decepticons. And well, I failed miserably. Better late then never, man! Here's your G2 deco'd Skyquake. My goal was to keep him from being too busy, which is hard to do with this guy. I mean, he's made up of 4 colors that normally shouldn't go together. But, a commissioner is always right, so I went for a copper/gold mix and a custom teal/turquoise and magenta colors, with liberal washes of green, blue, black and bronze as well as dry brushing and shading on the wings and torso.
The head is a custom cast of a modded Armada Skyquake head (first thing I ever cast! Woo-Hoo!). The hands are casts from a 1/100 Gundam Virtue. I removed some of the kibble from the wings and the font cannons. The Gatling gun is a mix mash of parts and pieces, as is the spliced together chain ammo belt from ROTC GI Joe figures.
