Why no TFG/Uni toys commercials ? Only PCC ones
Do they think only us 25+ kids will buy the G1 remakes and video game toys? And cater to kids for PCC buys

Pretty much.
The people that want Generations don't need advertisements to know they're coming.

You pretty much answered your own question right there: PCC caters more towards the kiddies, so of course Hasbro'd wanna get as much exposure to them as possible.

Kids want Generations too.
Actually, the whole franchise is for kids.

And all this time I thought Hasbro was making toys just for me...
I probably over simplified my point more than I should have, though.
Thing is that Hasbro has never put out any sort of advertising for the "Classics" based lines. So, if they're ever hoping to sell any of them, they must be hedging their bets that the people that are going to buy them have some kind of idea that they exist.
And you're right, the age range is going to be between 5 and 50, but I would tend to think that Generations would be the line that would skew older than the others which are based on the movie or any other wide release fiction.

Kids are still obviously the majority share though, they buy them because they're transformers. Advertisements regardless.

Re: Why no TFG/Uni toys commercials ? Only PCC ones
The reason Generations don't have ads is because no child under the age of 16 knows who the heck Thunderwing, Perceptor, Darkmount, Mindset, or even Tracks is... Generations is really more catered towards us, the collectors who knows what's coming before the Toystore knows they're coming
BTW, the reason I didn't list Drift in the random robots list is because Kids buy Drifts, because he's an asian Sword-wielding Car.

It's the same reason you don't see Star Wars Classics toys commercials instead of Clone Wars despite both of them being in Walmart together.
It's the same reason we got GI Joe Movie toy commercials instead of 25th Aniversary Joe ones.
Can I stop?

Re: Why no TFG/Uni toys commercials ? Only PCC ones
PCC Toys are less established characters and a new and relatively untried gimmick. Thus, it makes sense to gear promotion towards them, as there is no television show or comic to support the PCC subline. But the kid can still see the PCC commercials and realize how cool they are and how much they didn't know they wanted them until now.

You know... it would be neat to see ads for the remade toys. Use G1 cartoon footage mixed with maybe having the old G1 namesakes morph into the new ones.
