Re: Obscure Reviews, Season 2

I love that figure! Easily one of Animated's best. With any luck, this review will help the foolish ones who passed him up realize the error of their ways and hunt him down.

Awesome toy for sure - it's been a favorite of mine since I got it.

Those pictures you have of him in bike mode...it feels like they are missing something, something like Big Daddy riding that bike like its nobody's business.

Well, I'll never look at Mirage the same again

Great review on both figures,

TFTM
Real Gear
Spy Shot 6 and Photon T34

Oh, look, two more of my favorite toys. Actually, a favorite subline. Whatev's.

It's kind of surreal, photographing cameras....

In case you forget who they are, don't worry, it says RIGHT ON THEM!

-1 internet to anyone who can tell me who these two characters are.

->9000 internets to anyone who knows which one is out of place but really, why it's actually NOT out of place.

Because I was bored, the noise will be preempted for this special presentation

The main reasons I love this toy?

1. Proportions
2. Articulation

Give me the best you can for those and I'll always be happy.

Black repaint, why so evil?

Why this review sucks so much:

Well, I WAS playing Pokemon.

Oh, and, a tip? Don't let Photon have the stylus. You have been warned.

I don't care HOW cute he is, he's a Decepticon, and Decepticons are evil.

FIN

Ransack because he's from Cybertron on a movie line toy but actually NOT out of place because eventually Ransack got a toy in ROTF as the first Transformers biplane?

I did thoroughly enjoy this toy, and this line....sure there were some lame molds but some primo ones nevertheless

Re: Obscure Reviews, Season 2

Close, but rather that Real Gear was planned for release under the cybertron line, but was delayed and became part of the movie assortment =P

Re: Obscure Reviews, Season 2

You sure about that? Because I got the prototype pics saved on my hard drive on September-‎24-‎06 that would have been waaaaay too late to ever have been included in the Cybertron line.

Re: Obscure Reviews, Season 2

Huh... I did not know that. Suddenly that picture makes sense. Still he's the only Real Gear I own, and I kinda wish I had bought the Decepticon version.

Re: Obscure Reviews, Season 2

"The Real Gear Robots toys were created at Hasbro in line with the designs of the Cybertron franchise that ran through 2005 into the first half of 2006. Their release was held back, and this resulted in serendipity with the Movie marketing blitz, since cell phones and other electronic devices become Transformers in the film.[3] Evidence of this can be seen on the stickers of several "first-use" molds, which have Cybertron-series characters on them."

The reference given is a Hasbro rep at BotCon07.
