Re: Would buying every MP at once be more satisfying?
I like to have them one at a time, a lot of them are repaints/redecos so I'm not missing out if I only have one version of each mold. I'm being very patient with collecting MP figures unless its a must have.

I have no desire to own them all as there are only a few I like. If I did have the money I would preorder the hell out of the ones I'm most looking forward to!

For me, one by one is better. You get to take your time and enjoy each figure without being overwhelmed by another new figure.

One at a time is better coz you have to enjoy the figure before the next one comes in.

All at once would be overwhelming. It would likely take more than a day to open and figure them all out and I agree that it would diminish the enjoyment of individual pieces.

Part of the satisfaction for me is the hunt for a good bargain. And those don't come often so the purchases are usually spread out.

Buying every masterpiece out there at once 8s like been caught up to your favourite TV show or comic and waiting till the next one releases. To me I would die waiting for one to be released, like waiting for the next issue of batman beyond comic.

Re: Would buying every MP at once be more satisfying?
Great question CAF
If you are talking about going out and buying everyone at the exact same time if even possible, I don't know if it would actually take away from the excitement. I have bought lots of TF's( a few) at the same time from conventions/stores and it's never seemed to take away any of the euphorea of getting and opening them.
That being said if it was possible and I went to the store and bought them all at once it would be cool in another way, and I also guess if you opened them all at once it would be a different experience than if you opened them over a period of a week.
I also think the expectation in the waiting gives you also another rush as well at the same time getting tired of waiting for your pre-orders.
So to answer your question it's a little hard for me, but I guess, I would choose to buy a few (3-4) at once max and leave some for later, and spread that christmas feeling out longer.

Re: Would buying every MP at once be more satisfying?
I have been collecting MPs one by one since MP-01 and I skipped a few repaints like MP-01B, etc. Looking forward to a new (or new to me) mold and only get the ones that I actually like is more satisfying to me.

Amen! I love that too.
I spend hundreds of dollars worth of my time to save ten bucks and I love every second of it! haha
