Meh, I thought they would use this mold...seemed like the obvious choice but thumbs down for the lack of a new head.

Re: Botcon 2013 Megaplex

I'm surprised that they were able to get use of the PRID molds so soon. Good thing, too, since this is the best mold choice out there that they haven't already used yet.

I don't mind the mold, but after seeing the interesting paint schemes of Strika and Skywarp I'm a little disappointed by this.. Oh well hopefully the other exclusives will be nice!

They could at least use paint apps to try making the face different!

There is too much going on in this set for my liking. It does not work for me when you mix movie, prime, classics, etc. together.

Re: Botcon 2013 Megaplex

I like this figure the best, from the pictures I've seen at least.

I'm excited for this set. I'm tempted to even get one. Haven't picked up a Botcon set for a few years. I like what they've done with each figure, but Strika and Obsidian seem out of place in Machine Wars with their vibrant colour schemes. I'd prefer a duller shade of purple and green on each figure to make them look more "Machine Wars-esque."

Yeah, I have to agree. It seems to be all over the place. Not a terrible figure though. The thing that bothers me is that this mold is offered as a Botcon exclusive and it was so difficult to find at retail as Skyquake.

Re: Botcon 2013 Megaplex

This is garbage, just like the rest of the set. None of the molds match each other in design concepts and the colours are as bad as that G2 garbage they gave us a few years ago.
