Re: Transformers Generations From Toy Fair 2013

I don't know what it is (maybe the sleep deprivation), but I'm not as excited about these as I feel I should have been.

I was really hoping that Megatron was going to be Voyager sized. Trailcutter looks good enough, but not great (still nice to finally get one in the line, though). Orion Pax and Bumblebee do nothing for me.

Blitzwing looks great. Hopefully his larger size doesn't make him too out of place with deluxes Astrotrain and Octane. Springer looks well done also, but I can't help but feel he's also one size class too high, but again, we'll wait and see.

The Targetmaster Legends are just kind of *meh*.

Metroplex is admittedly pretty cool. Too big for my collection, but I can understand why fellow fans would be super excited.

I really want Blitzwing and Orion Pax. Super impressed with Springer. Finally Hasbro made him a triple changer. I have the FP Defender and am very happy with him so I may have to pass on him

My excitement is reserved for Springer and Blitzwing, and I expect that is the same for most people here (plus Metroplex). The Bumblebee has not been mentioned by most because it looks weird. Orion Pax is... off somehow. I think that if these voyagers follow the recent shrinking trend that we have seen in the deluxes, then the new Blitzwing won't be too much bigger than Astrotrain. It is definitely bought regardless.

Metroplex NOW!!!!

I am not feeling as bad about cancelling my Fort Max preorder now. This guy looks awesome... and gives me hope of a future Fort Max redesign down the road.

Re: Transformers Generations From Toy Fair 2013

These would all be instant buys; unfortunately I live in an area that is highly populated by "scalpers". Oh, I see the unwanted figures of the most recent waves, but not the Springers or Blitzwings for sure. I might as well stick with 3P offerings at the price some of these new generations will go for on eBay. I guess I'll have to settle with MasterMind's Predaking and FansProject's Menasor this year... and headmasters... then Computron and The Fallen... poor rittle me.
