I would say that most of the car bots are deluxe sized as they are not voyager size somewhere in between and then the ones that are MP-10 are just a bit bigger then current leader class figures I will try and post pics of Classics Prowl/Sideswipe and MP Prowl/Lambor so soon as I can unless someone else gets to it first

Classics Prowl looks so bad next to MP Prowl but Henkei Lambor and MP Lambor is not to bad

Bumblebee is smaller than a deluxe. MP carbots are slightly shorter than a voyager.

MP Prowl and Wheeljack would look larger than the CHUG Seekers

Re: The Masterpiece Appreciation and Speculation Thread

Classics seekers were always way to small. Seekers should have been voyager size as they should be bigger than the car bots but that is my opinion. That is why MP Seekers and MP carbots go oh so well side by each

With all the new MPs announced by Takara over the past little while I'm wondering if it is part of their plan to compete with and detear all the 3P companies making MP styled figures.

What do you guys think?

Do Japanese companies care about foreign competition? An anecdotal example is Nintendo not even caring what MS does with Xbox live.

I think there isn't a Bay movie for a while so the designers have lots of extra time on their hands

But really, there still isn't much of a push for new molds. It's mostly repaints.

A company that offeres it's products to the same target demographic should care about any competition in that same demographic.

Your example of Nintendo and Xbox is a poor example as they have deferent target markets. Nintendo's offeyings are targeted to a younger and and family friendly demographic while Xbox's offerings are targeted to a more mature demographic including young adults and adults.
