Art Commission Prices?

Im considering getting some sort of art commission done for my autograph session with Peter Cullen.

But I've never really looked into this sorta stuff before, on average how much do artists charge for this sorta thing at TFCon?

If you're going to get a commission done for Peter Cullen to sign, I would look at getting it done ahead of time because the at-show commissions fill up fast and usually take a while. So by the time the artist has it finished, you may have missed your autograph session. Heck, I know some who aren't even doing commissions at the show at all, just pre-show commissions and prints, or are only doing simple quick sketches. I'd contact the artist of your choice now. Probably via Twitter. This way you can possibly pick it up Saturday morning, ready for Peter Cullen to sign.

For an example, dyemooch(aka Josh Perez) recently posted his pricing on Twitter a couple days ago:

pre-con options:
9x12 headshot $40 (1 character only)
11x14 Bust $50 (for 1 char)
11x14 Full body $70 (for 1 char)
Add color + $10 per character
Add character + $20

Is there any option to contact the artists for those who don't have Twitter? I've been trying to look into this as I'd like to get a commission of Kremzeke done to add to my decepticon leg sleeve tattoo. I'm sure something that simple is something they could do quickly.

Probably Facebook. Or if they have a personal website, which I don't think most of them have, they might have an email address on there you can contact them through.

But yeah, something simple like that they can probably do at the show.

Yeah, as mentioned be careful of your timeframe. The artists are busy and your commission might not get finished in time for you to get it signed.
