Just put in an order on the Lego Canada website. Snag one before they're sold out!

Re: LEGO Optimus Prime Available For Purchase Now!

Maybe because I'm not into lego .... why would I want to pay 220 for such a common looking, even kind of ugly Optimus Prime?

Ouch! that?s a hefty price! Def?n gonna pass on it. I think the Voltron set was only a bit more expensive than this set, and it had way more to it!

No, it's not parts forming. That's one of the advertised features that it transforms without partsforming.

Ordered OP (and free shipping is nice) since I'm sure the local store will not have any of these left whenever I could've gotten over there to get one.

Re: LEGO Optimus Prime Available For Purchase Now!

Compared to the Robosen Optimus, this one looks nicer. No head backflap. Hips are spot. They did what no other G1 Optimus could ever do in vehicle mode, have a rear end that doesn't have the feet awkwardly hanging off the back!

And for only $220, decent price for a lego set this size. This guy is taller than MP-01. I'm not entirely sure where 1500 pieces go, but that's what it is.
Having said that, I can't afford it, and have no place to put it. But I'm happy knowing it exists. Maybe I'll go visit a Lego store and stare at it, like I did for the UCS Falcon.
