TFcon 2013 is pleased to announce that they will once again be hosting a charity auction for
Make-A-Wish Canada on Saturday, July 27th, 2013. Last year TFcon raised $2705 in their first ever charity auction.
The charity auction will feature many great unique donations and we hope our community will help us raise as much as possible for the Make-A-Wish foundation. If you wish to donate an item for the auction please email the convention.
Make-A-Wish® Canada creates magical moments for children between the ages of 3 and 17, living with life threatening medical conditions, through granting a child’s one true wish. Make-A-Wish® strives to create hope, strength and joy by giving a child a much needed respite from being sick, allowing them to experience the wholesome enjoyment of just being a “kid” again.
Make-A-Wish impacts the lives of families when they need to know that their community cares about what they are going through, as their child battles for his or her life.
Make-A-Wish exists for one reason only – to grant wishes to children living with life-threatening medical conditions. Thanks for helping to share the power of a wish®!
TFcon – The world's largest fan-run Transformers convention will take place July 26th to 28th, 2013 in Toronto, Ontario at the
Delta Meadowvale Resort and Conference Centre.
TFcon 2013 hotel block is now available, the group rate is good for July 24 to July 31, 2013 at the price of $109 per room. No deposit is required to reserve your room now. You have until July 23rd to cancel your room if you can't make the convention.
