I saw it at my local WalMart for 16.97. Granted, you'll have to travel a little. With the price of gas these days, I'm not sure what is the better deal.

Sigh. Unfortunately, yes. I got core Spike from EB, so edge discount. It was 18.12 after tax.

I don't know if A3U has stock right this moment, but I grabbed Core Spike from them at $15.99 before tax a little while ago.

Doubtful that prices will drop to "sane" levels at any point in the future...
