We actually talked about this short in class during our discussions about film technique in new media, acceptable new forms of storytelling their advantages and disadvantages. Discussion event went into discussing trailer structure and "sweded" films.
Oh Yeah, the other films on the page are pretty good too. Some of them should be pretty familiar. The industry buzz suggests that the Halo film is how these guys got connected with Peter Jackson.

My god, I just saw the new trailer. I must see this movie in theaters and then own the DVD. For everyone else out there, don't look at the trailer. Just go and see the movie. Expect a bit more action than your standard social political satire.
I repeat, DO NOT SEE THE NEW TRAILER. JUST SEE THE MOVIE.
I'm wishing I hadn't and just went to the theater completely unsuspecting.
Edit: Between this and G.I.Joe that comes out around the same time, I think I'd rather watch this.

The aliens have exoskeletons and the I heard some of it was from the remnants of the faile Halo movie.
