Regarding workers checking stock. I've worked retail before.

Fait lé donc, moé j'pas capable." Right to my face, as I was maybe three feet away. Some people really shouldn't be allowed to work in public.
So yeah, I'll ask IF I find one of the nicer toy dept. employee
Glad you left it there Thanks again!

I'm a happier and more smug customer that way.

"Let me check the back." * Checks the stock and flirts with cute stock chick where your boss can't see you. win-win.
"Oh sorry. I couldn't find any. Come back later this week since we stock each tues and thurs."
That's how it's suppose to be.

I use to have the portable phone cause I use to drive the fork lift at Rona. "Buhawi line 2. Alle 15." - Jennifer
Then we'd hang out a bit in the back talk a bit then I take out the fork lift from the back then she helps me clear the aisles for safety.
Productive fun. How can one be that lazy?
If it's the picker even better. No one can hear you and it's just the two of you up there. Safety first so you take your time a bit. win-win.
You go out with her then she buys you a drink for being more attentive than the loser bf. How can you lose? You didn't spend a single dime on the chick and you have her wrapped around your... I could go on. You get a drink your co-worker did half the work (cooperation). Win-win no matter the result.

Best times to ask:
- Early in the morning. Preferably in the morning. opening. Ask when they refill their aisles so you get dibs almost all the time.
- Person to ask. The person who refills the aisles. That's the person they call over the phone whenever there's a price error or whatever questions from the cash. Call them by their first name so they can't pull shit on you.
I don't bother asking these days cause of time constraint. The wife decides a last minute shopping due to kids. I can't hunt as much cause of lack of sleep and I take care of both kids. I normally arrive there with the wife or I'm rushing. I don't hunt as much and don't know the people anymore.
