Re: The Masterpiece Appreciation and Speculation Thread

Just got notification from BBTS that MP-21 Bumblebee with Exosuit is 500 yen (~$5.00 US) less than the other recent Masterpiece cars and they have adjusted their preorder price from $79.99 to $74.99.

Looks like BBTS has updated their release date to Novemeber 2014 now for MP Bumblebee. Man this has been an expensive year and it's not even close to being over yet!

If that's the case then I will be cancelling my preorder as I only have it preorderd for a friend and will wait till later in the year to preorder it from a Canadian seller.

Re: The Masterpiece Appreciation and Speculation Thread

^Is Bumblebee without his underwear? LOL. That looks good but I feel he will be slightly taller than that and I am fine with him being taller. The vehicle mode will be in scale with the other autobot vehicles. If the robot mod is short then the vehicle will be hollow and proportionally light. But that really looks perfect. BBTS preorder price is too much for me.

That's right I believe CJ was a Porsche 924 with the GTR racing kit which was very popular in Japan. It explains the flat vertical nose vs the sharper nose of a standard 924 body.

Oh and here's CJ sitting on top of a 924 with a stock front end.

Anime-export has bb for $41 US before shipping, which is a MUCH better price. And unlike bbts, you're less likely to get hit with import fees.

That kitbashed pics looks about right, though I think 'Bee's dong wasn't as flat and wide as the black bar suggests .

$44 USD at Nippon Yassan (Thanks Darth Cylon!).

I have a feeling he'll be short and small, but sexy.
