I don't see Drift in bot mode. I see Bludgeon. And in ALT I refuse to call that Bugatti Drift, it's Bayverse Blurr and I'm sticking to it. I really think they ruined Drift, but it's Bay, I shouldn't be so surprised.

Never forgot how a lot of naming conventions work with Hasbro.

Drift as a registered property has not been used with Hasbro in AWHILE (Since the Generations toy). And when Hasbro licenses the name again for another 3-5 years, they have to BY US Patent Office LAW, use it, otherwise they get a huge fine and might even lose the name.

This is why we have odd ball tons like the GDO Generations stuff or Cyberverse repaints with any name attached to it. They need to keep those "Prowls, Brawns, Mirages, and even Tailpipes" nice and fresh.

Drift, just another victim of this.

I mean was Sideswipe really Sideswipe, was Skids really Skids........... this is the Movieverse.

I don't have a problem with it, I actually like the simplified bot designs. So far they don't look like a bunch of scrap metal folded like origami, should be easier to view on the big screen during fast action sequences.

Honestly, I've resigned myself to not giving a crap about anything that happens in the Movieverse. I'll watch the movie. I'll buy the toys that I think are cool. Otherwise, I'll let it be what ever it wants to be. After three movies, to get angry at anything is an exercise in futility.

If they want to give Prime pink flames, be my guest. That's money in the bank for me.
