I think I remember these!
Like, I never had the book or anything, but the pages look strikingly familiar for some reason, especially the rear shot of Bumblebee. I probably saw pictures or something of this as a kid, or maybe even the real thing at a library without signing it out.

I picked up Armada Tidal Wave at the weekend for $6. Missing the minicon and the missiles, but I've wanted him for ages because he looks a bit like the TCS Tigers Claw 
I currently have him in combined mode covered with Power Core Combiner minicons ^^
