Size of Planet Cybertron
Sorry if this has been posted. I did a search but nothing related came up.
I am curious about the size (diameter) of Planet Cybertron (Transformer cybertron/Galaxy Force). I can't find any data on that. Not really a transformer fan until I watched Galaxy Force, so basically a newbie to the TF universe.
Same size as Unicron in planet mode (excluding the ring)??
How tall are Primus and Unicron in robot mode?

Re: Size of Planet Cybertron
since humans are able to walk and move normally on cybertron. its assumed that Cybertron is the same size as earth. the bigger the planet, the heavier the gravity.

Re: Size of Planet Cybertron
I'd actually put it as close to the size of our moon. I think the gravitational pull has more to do with the core of the planet and rate of spin than the actual planet itself, but I could be wrong.

Re: Size of Planet Cybertron
In "The Ultimate Doom" cartoon episodes, it appears to be the same size as the moon...

Re: Size of Planet Cybertron
It's originally quoted as being 'the size of Jupiter,' which is slightly ridiculous.
I'd say it's more like a moon, with the same mass as Earth, seeing as it appears to be made entirely of solid metal.
But then you have Unicron in the movie being dwarfed by cybertron, so maybe it IS the size of Jupiter, just mostly hollow. The development of the planet goes right through to the core.
In short, it is a mystery.

Re: Size of Planet Cybertron
Yes, there's been some debate about this. You have to consider a lot of factors. Chisau is right about gravity, but we've known Cybertron to have some types of artificial gravity and anti-gravity. It definitely has a breathable atmosphere as well as precipitation. The comics made Cybertron out to be Saturn-sized from what I know, while the cartoon makes it seem like a small planet. It's hollow in certain parts and gravity is determines by mass, not radius. So, in conclusion, I don't know. I prefer to think of it as a moon-sized planet.

Re: Size of Planet Cybertron
That's the thing I like with Gundams and super robots from the old Japanese shows, they always had dimensions and weight.

Re: Size of Planet Cybertron
I always thought of it as a moon size type of planet myself.

Re: Size of Planet Cybertron
Bah! They keep changing it.. I always try to look at the horizon and make my guess from there, sometimes it has a wicked curve on it, but then it probably depends on the artist who drew it.
Allllthoughhhh the final boss fight at the end of the PS2 game makes it out to be about the size of the moon as well. hmmmmm the plot thickens.
Maybe it's like one of those geoscopic spheres that you can buy at toy stores that expand and compress. Now we're just getting CRAZY!

Re: Size of Planet Cybertron
In G1 it was shown being the size of our moon. Galaxy force had it being slightly bigger, but still not as big as Earth. (Compared to Starscream)
BW follows G1, as does BM. We never saw extensive views of it in RID, and as far as I know Arm and Eng's were the same size as Cyb's.
