Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat

I'm an XL t-shirt and dress shirts are hard for me to find. I think the best looking one's I've found are at RW & Co. off the sale rack I've gotten great dress shirts for less than $20 and their jeans for $20. Usually if the shirt fits the collar doesn't, but at RW it's perfect.

Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat

I use to work at the old Holt Renfrew and got spoiled a bit but I did learn something about tailoring. I left before Holt moved to the new location and now that place is just a bazaar selling expensive fugly stuff.

I mostly buy clothes and shoes online now. Save me time and money and not having to deal with annoying commission sales people. Much like ordering toys from HLJ or Amiami, I can order some stuff from UK and ship them across the pond and they are still cheaper than buying them locally. But once a while I'd buy something from Banana Republic during sales.

Can anyone recommend a good place to buy affordable outerwear, like jackets and hoodies? I need to get some cheap winter wear fast, I'm going up north for the holidays to visit my buddy and it's already well into the negatives where he is.

Try Stormtech outlet on Boundary between Grandview and Lougheed

Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat

That depends on your budget. Most Winners locations I've been to are having racks full of snow jacket for around $100.

If you are a ski bum and are looking to invest into something with higher quality, check out the Arc'teryx outlet in north van. Most are at least 50-60% off regular price.

The DT adidas store on Granville is currently having 40% off all outdoor jackets. I'd also recommend you to check out the adidas outlet. Since you are in Surrey there's one in Langley on 66th Ave across from Best Buy/Walmart.

IMO if you are going up north, don't cheap out on outerwear. It's for your own protection. Don't forget to wear thermal base layers. It's Hoth out there.

I agreed. Stormtech has better stuff than Winners. You should go check it out.

Honestly, how else do you get your hands on a case like that?

That's the same chode-smoking scalper that trolled the Sightings Thread, had their account deleted by the Mods and whose appearance prompted the opening of this Non-Sightings Chat Thread.

I hope whatt hey say about Instant Karma is true and this guy gets run over by a van transporting toy donations to needy kids.
