Board member are generally great but I have also encountered a number of Canadian Board members that are asking for USD currency for their figures AND asking the buyer and extra 4% or so to cover their PayPal fees.

The USD is a real piss off. I saw one earlier and immediately moved on. I do charge USD on my sale threads, but only on TFW. I also reduce my prices on TFW so the exchange equates to my listings here, that are in CDN. It's bad enough that our Canadian sponsor sites have switched over to USD but now boardies as well. SMH.

I don't mind if the ad is in usd or asks to send payment as PayPal gift. What annoys me is when sellers sell outside of eBay (to avoid eBay/PayPal fees) but still ask for "eBay prices".

If you want to sell at eBay prices, IMO they should take the risk and put it up for auction or pay eBay fees to set a reserve price.

I totally agree. I can understand if the board member is located in the United States but I'm no longer going to entertain paying a Canadian seller in USD.

Me too. Not paying USD for "Canadian" goods.

Good on you guys that's ridiculous too one ask for use and two what irks me even more is asking you to pay the PayPal fee. I didn't put a gun to your head to use PayPal. That's your choice you pay it. _##(_( ridiculous.... that's the cost of doing business... Canada buying from US is dead bc of as mentioned their ridiculous shipping prices plus global shipping program.. I buy only from.China sorry but I work hard for my money.and don't give it away for bs.. Ha ask.me for Us dollars from afellow member and PayPal.fees... Go suck a lemon

Re: Sources for G1 figures

I find that TFCon has thinned out in regards to G1 in the last couple of years. It's the main line I'm always looking for. There's always your main 2-3 dealers you see at every show and maybe a couple of other ones. Otherwise it's all newer lines. Hopefully this year is better.
