Instructions storage

As my collection has grown, so too has my box of instructions. I set out a little while ago to try to find a more efficient and convenient way to store these things. Here is my story.

Re: Instructions storage

Purchased some sheet protectors off of Amazon:

admittedly I did not shop around for the best price, your results may vary. These turned out to work nicely however. Energon Drill for scale.

Re: Instructions storage

First instruction insert, none other than age of extinction grimlock. I sorted the instructions by alphabetical order and by 'universe' and 'chapters in the universe'. so each movie got its own divider for example.

Re: Instructions storage

Even with 2 instructions to a sheet protector, things got out of hand quickly. Ordered 200 more sheet protectors after overgrowing the test binder and filling the third binder. Energon drill for scale.

Re: Instructions storage

My nephew has been using the same method and also for storage of the back cards from deluxe figures and parts of the boxes from voyager figures.

It's a great way to store them and I've been thinking about doing the same.

Re: Instructions storage

5 inches, definitely not big enough for your mom.

Even with this mammoth 5 inch binder, still had more to go! Those are heavy books to try to flatten the pages a little. Energon drill for scale. Also, a child's sock. Because ... no place is safe from those rascals. classics voyager jetfire in the top right corner, for the observant.

Re: Instructions storage

a comparison of the 5 inch binder with the original box. Energon drill for scale. Also on the desk an attempt at joining the movie arcee, chromia, and elita-1 combiner mode. I am pretty sure I did not get it right.
